Sevens & Stripes is one of those slot games that really gets down to the basics. With three-reels and a single-payline, it's beautiful in its simplicity, and that is a tribute to the ingenuity at Real Time Gaming software, one of the industry leaders when it comes to online casino software. The no-nonsense interface makes it easy for anyone to get into the action, and it gives you the feeling that you just might be in the middle of a Las Vegas casino (or an Atlantic City casino, as it were).
RTG, which has a well-earned reputation for sharp and colorful graphics, has designed Sevens & Stripes to look just like an actual slot machine, complete with levers too! When you play the game, you'll hand it to the software developer for the way they make something so simple so exciting.
If you like that which is "traditional" in slot machine play, you'll feel right at home with Sevens & Stripes. It's very straightforward - there are two different kinds of symbols in the game - Sevens and Bars - with the "stripes" growing out of the theme of "Stars and Stripes" on the American flag, and of course, the Sevens (7's) are red, white and blue.
The biggest single prize you win in this game is 10,000 coins, and you reach that plateau by hitting the combination of a red seven, white seven and blue seven right across the single payline with the maximum three-coin bet. Red 7's across the payline will pay 5000 coins, again, with the three-coin bet. There are eight other combinations for which you can get paid in Sevens & Stripes.
This is the list, with figures that represent that which comes with a maximum three-coin wager:
White Sevens - 600
Red, White, Blue Bar - 600
Blue Sevens -- 300
Triple Blue Bars - 120
Any Sevens - 60
Double White Bars - 60
Single Red Bars - 30
Any Bars - 12
There's no mystery about what the payouts are when you're playing this game; they're right there in front of you, above the reels, and that is indicative of the extremely user-friendly interface that has been designed by RTG.
When it comes to the actual wagers, there are three denominations available - 5, 25 and 100, and you are able to play up to three coins per round. So obviously it doesn't matter whether you're a small player or a high roller - you are going to find yourself at home in Sevens & Stripes. You have the option of clicking "Bet One" or "Play 3 Credits" according to the buttons on the interface. Upon clicking "Spin Reel," the game starts, and you're always going to know how much you've been paid and how many coins you are betting, because there are windows that show you, immediately adjacent to the reels on the right side.
If you want something space-age, you are probably better off somewhere else. Sevens & Stripes does not have any wilds. There are no scatters, or any bonus games either. This is very much a "meat-and-potatoes" game.
Players have options here. One of them involves sound effects. You can turn them up or down, or turn them off completely. There's a nice effect when you put the coins into the game, as it makes a sound similar to that which a real slot machine makes. If you want a better view, RTG has built in the capability of expanding to the full screen.
This is one of those games where there isn't a whole lot that's fancy, but you can take to it very, very easily. When you get "back to basics," there's no better game than Sevens & Stripes! |
