Pivot Roulette System

The idea that the numbers coming out on a roulette wheel, whether we are talking about the physical roulette wheel itself or the virtual wheel in online roulette, are evenly distributed in terms of their probability is one that is a fantasy at best. In other words, just because the numbers - and let's use an American roulette wheel for example - all have a one in 38 chance of being selected, that doesn't mean that each one of the numbers is going to come up every 38 spins. That would actually be a lot more orderly process than that which is random, and when you are working with a random number generator (RNG) in the online game, there is going to be a decidedly dis-orderly process.

Sure, over the course of millions and millions of spins, the occurrence of each of the numbers being selected is going to even out a great deal. But when you turn on your computer, you are not playing millions and millions of spins; you are playing for a short-term return.

The "Pivot" roulette system for attacking roulette acknowledges these truths, and seeks to construct a roulette strategy to take advantage of them. It has been determined, for example, that over the course of 36 spins, about 24 different "real" numbers (numbers that are not zero or double zero) will come up in the slot.

Roulette lends itself to playing a system like the Pivot because you are required to keep close track of the numbers that come out. If you were in a brick and mortar casino, you would do this with the pencil and pad that the casino will gladly supply you. When you are playing online roulette, it is quite possible that you are going to have something of a "tote board" that literally shows you which numbers have appeared, so you can spare yourself the effort. Either way, take note of any number that comes out twice in a sequence, because the first one that repeats is going to be your "pivot" number.

Now, it should be noted that you could probably play the Pivot system a lot easier in the physical setting than in online casinos, at least the way the system's proponents have it laid out. That's because it is advocated that you will observe the numbers as they come out, and then place your first bet on the number that repeats. You can get away with standing around and watching in the brick and mortar casino. In the online roulette game, you generally have to be playing the game to see any results. If this is the case, what you may want to do is bide your time with even money bets, keep your losses low, and then wait for the pivot number to come up before putting more substantial wagers down.

When that pivot number is established, you are instructed to bet on that for a period of 36 spins, and you will continue to do so until one of two things happen: (1) you win, or (2) lose all 36 spins. Does that sound simple enough? The idea is that if you hit that pivot number at some point during your own 36-spin sequence, you are going to profit, or at the very least break even, with 35/1 odds paid by the casino on any single number you hit. Since the cash outlay increases with every spin of the wheel, you are going to make more profit if the pivot number comes up sooner rather than later.

In the event of a win or a 36-spin blowout, you simply choose a new pivot number, derived through the same process, and start the strategy all over again.
