Multi-hand Spanish Blackjack is a table game that was developed by Microgaming and is available in many online casinos. This variation of the classic Blackjack game offers players some great chances at winning, including being able to play up to five hands. Using 8 decks of playing cards, Multihand Spanish Blackjack is full of surprises and packed with excitement. This game only uses 48 cards from the standard deck, omitting the 10s. All cards are shuffled before each hand is played.
The rules for Spanish Blackjack are a little bit different from a regular Blackjack game, but they are the same for the single and multihand versions. The dealer is always required to hit on a soft 17. Blackjack will always beat any hand that totals 21 and a player’s hand of 21 will beat the dealer’s hand of 21. Multihand Spanish Blackjack allows players the option of playing in Expert Mode where they will have more options available, including an Autoplay feature. Players will also have access to a strategy card that is customizable. When playing in Autoplay mode, the software will apply whatever blackjack strategy is chosen by the player. All hands that are played will be logged so that players can go back and review their statistics of the games they have played.
When playing Multi hand Spanish Blackjack in an online casino, players can make a Late Surrender in which they will forfeit half of the bet they have made in return for not playing out the rest of the hand. This is a nice option when players are dealt a hand that will probably be a loser. This option is available even after the player has Doubled Down.
The splitting rules for this version of Spanish Blackjack are the same as they are in other blackjack games by Microgaming. When Aces are split and the player is then dealt a 10 value card, this will not create a Blackjack. Players can split as many as three times and Aces can be re-split. When players decide to split Aces, they will only be able to take one card and they will be forced to stand, regardless of the total of the cards.
One of the major differences in Spanish Blackjack, both single and multihand, is the bonus payout table. Totals of 21 will be paid out at different rates, depending on how many cards have been used to create 21. If players use five cards, the payout will be 3/2, but if they use six cards, the payout is 2/1. Getting 21 with 7 or more cards will award the player with a payout of 3/121. These bonus payouts are not available after a player has Doubled Down.
Multi hand Spanish Blackjack is a great game from Microgaming, providing players with the excitement of a Blackjack game with a little twist. Since the 10s are pulled from the deck, players will have fewer high value cards to create 21 or a Blackjack. This game can be found in many online casinos that use Microgaming software. Spanish Blackjack has become a very popular casino game and continues to attract players. It is a great game for players of all skill levels.
