Bonkers is a three-reel, single-payline, three-coin slots game that's been designed and produced by Real Time Gaming (RTG), which has a well-earned reputation as one of the foremost online casino software providers in the world. If you are interested in a slot game that is very easy to play but at the same time gives you some angles that can result in an extra special payoff, Bonkers could be an ideal option.
Bonkers is laid out clean and simple. There is just a single payline, so there's no process whereby you have to go through enabling more and more paylines and throwing a larger and larger bet out there. Of course, the other side of the issue is that there are fewer ways for you to win. The closer you look at this game, the more and more interesting a proposition it becomes.
As for the basic controls, well, they are very easy to figure out. You click "Bet One" in order to wager one unit, after selecting a denomination, whether it is 5, 25 or 100 units. You can elect to "Play 3 Credits" by clicking a button if you so wish. At any time you can click on the red button to the left and "Cash Out" of the game. The button that reads "Spin Reel" is where everything, in effect, gets started.
The biggest jackpot in this game, as noted by the pay table (which can be seen right above the reels), is 1200 coins, and you'll hit that whenever you get three red Sevens across the payline. In addition for that, there are seven other combos that can pay off for you, and here is the list, with payouts based on having the maximum three-coin bet on that particular spin:
Triple Bars - 240
Double Bars - 90
Single Bars - 45
Any Bar - 30
Three "Bonkers" - 9
Two "Bonkers" - 6
One "Bonkers" - 3
There's a Bonkers symbol in this game, and though it doesn't, on its face, constitute a big payoff, there is another angle to the symbol that makes it a very important part of the game, and takes the game to another level.
When you are able to get two Bonkers symbols (they have to hit the payline, of course) you're going to be awarded three free spins. Then things get even better when you get three Bonkers in the line. if this happens you are going to get ten free spins. This basically gives you ten free "cracks" at the house and you're not at any risk whatsoever. These are also classified as "guaranteed-winning free spins," so whatever happens, you're not going to walk away empty-handed (There's a counter that shows you how many free spins you've used up.)
If there's a drawback, maybe it is that you're not going to able to win additional free spins during this particular phase, but with the guaranteed winners we're not sure that doesn't make sense anyway. By the way, if you were to achieve the highest level of jackpot with three red Sevens during this time, the free spins phase will be over, although you wouldn't necessarily need them to continue beyond that with so much money in your pocket
Money in your pocket is what it's all about, and that's something that's well within your reach when you play Bonkers! |
